Basic Information:

1. General Information of Requester

Chongqing University of Technology is the key construction university in Chongqing, which was founded in 1940. There are 3 campuses in Huaxi, liangjiang and Yangjiaping. The school has always been to moral education as a fundamental task. Facing and serving the national and local economic development, the multi-disciplinary system of coordination and development of science, industry, literature, management, economics, law, medicine and art has been established. There are 10 key disciplines: provincial (Department) level, 11 first level master degree, 37 authorized level, 2 master degree, and 11 authorized degree. Currently there are 62 undergraduate programs, including 4 national characteristic specialized construction, 2 comprehensive reform pilot professional, 6 Chongqing municipal specialty construction point, "three special action plan" 15 professional characteristics, 5 characteristics of discipline specialty group.

Information of secondary units

The school of pharmacy and bioengineering is committed to the development of biomedical, national strategic emerging industries, high-level outstanding technical personnel, serving the development of regional biomedicine industry. College formed Department of pharmacy, Department of biomedical science and experimental teaching center and 4 undergraduate courses(pharmacy, pharmaceutical engineering, biomedical engineering and biological engineering), 1 key disciplines of Chongqing City, 1 characteristic specialty, 1 potential subjects, 2 master professional degree courses , 1 biomedical Engineering Masters course, 2 Key Laboratory of Chongqing city and 2 Chongqing Municipal Engineering Research Center, 1 Chongqing City Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center, 2 industrial demonstration base, 2 of the laboratories, with the cooperation between technology and develop human resources and more than 10 enterprises, with the condition the perfect platform for scientific research and develop human resources.

2. International Cooperation Status

Since 2007, We conducted jointly resource survey with the Kanazawa University, Toyama University and Research centers, for Medicinal Plant Resources National Biomedical Innovation, Health and Nutrition at several times in Chongqing or Sichuan. We determine content of a traditional Chinese medicine in Chongqing. I made a speech at the symposium on crude drugs and medicinal plants, and Exchange of opinions in japan.

Technical Requirements Summary:

1.       Importance and necessity of requested project, and relations with key projects and industries of Chongqing .

In recently, along with the diversification of the disease types, the demand is increasing. The traditional evaluation method is not objectivity and determination, the expression is ambiguous.  Therefore, it is easy to be generated, causing damage to health.

In this study, we determine the color, the taste and the content of the traditional Chinese medicines using latest technology to guarantee the stability of quality, certification of truth.

We establish an objective and comprehensive method to evaluate of quality in the traditional Chinese medicines.

This method can evaluate of the traditional Chinese medicines not only is suitable for the control of the manufacturing process and management of pharmaceutical preparation. In addition it can be avoid from the misunderstanding between production companies, public management institution and the consumers.

2. Technology breakthroughs and innovations of requested project

The color of the traditional Chinese medicines is measured by the spectrophotometric method, which is expressed according to the international standard. The taste of the traditional Chinese medicines, the value of electrical stimulation obtained from multiple sensors determines the type of taste. The content of the traditional Chinese medicines was determined by chromatography.

In this study, the properties of the traditional Chinese medicines are digitized, and the international leading identification and quality evaluation method of the traditional Chinese medicines are comprehensive.
