In order to standardize the mangement of technology transfer institutions in Chongqing, promote the transformation of science and technology achivements, Chongqing Science and Technology Bureau decided to screen a batch of technology transfer institutions as demonstration institutions. After procedures such as investigation, review, onsite assessment and vertification, Chongqing Science and Technology Bureau certified China-Hungary Technology Transfer Center (Chongqing) as 2019 Chongqing Technology Transfer Demonstration Institution based on Chongqing Technology and Transfer Institutions Establishment and Operation Administrative Measures. (Attached, please find the list of demonstration institutions) Considering knowledge and technology transfer as main job, CHTTC will summarize the development mode in time, play a demostrative and leading role in promoting science and technology innovation and serve regional economy and industrial development in the future.
Chongqing – Under the theme 70 Prominent Years, Striving for A New Era, iChongqing’s special video series Chongqing’s International Circle of Friends: Hungary and Chongqing’s Cooperation in Technology is now released. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People`s Republic of China, and also the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Hungary and China. In this episode, iChongqing interviewed with Dióssi Lóránd, the Consul-General of Hungary in Chongqing, to hear about his vision on the cooperation especially in the technology industry. We also take a look at the China-Hungary Technology Transfer Center and an academic exchange at Southwest University in order to discover Chongqing and Hungary`s cooperation in depth. According to Dióssi Lóránd, the Hungarian government attaches great importance to Chongqing. The economy of Chongqing and Hungary can be said to be very similar because both have two big industries. The largest is the automotive industry, and the second-largest is the IT industry. He also explained how the similarities bestow a potential for cooperation from both sides.iChongqing also interviewed with Li Hai, the Director of China-Hungary Technology Transfer Center, to explore the achievements in recent two years and see how the Hungarian project landed in Chongqing. As early as 2004, the Food Safety College of Southwest University had an academic connection with the Hungarian school and government, which also achieved positive outcomes in food safety research.Overall, Hungary and Chongqing maintain a good friendship in a various ways, especially in this remarkable year. On April 28th, the “2019 China (Chongqing)-Hungary Automobile Industry Innovation Forum” jointly sponsored by Chongqing Science and Technology Bureau and the Hungarian Consulate General in Chongqing and organized by Chinese-Hungarian Technology Transfer Center (Chongiqng). In this forum, Dr. Palkovics László, Minister of Innovation and Technology in Hungary, Li Dianxun, deputy mayor of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, and Lóránd Dióss, Consul General of Hungary in Chongqing have witnessed the signing ceremony of China-Hungary Joint Smart Terminal Industry Settled in Tongnan with the signing agreement between Tongnan People`s Government and Craffe Industrial Co. Ltd. The “Intelligent Terminal Product Project” was officially signed and settled in Tongnan District, Chongqing, which focuses on design, development, and production of products as smartphones and automotive electronics.Chongqing Science and Technology Bureau introduced that the “Intelligent Terminal Product Project” have investment for 50 million yuan. It will take about 6,000 square meters of standard factory buildings for design, research, development, and production of smartphones, smart bracelets, touch keyboards, automotive electronics, and other products. Its annual output value will be 1.5 billion yuan and the tax revenue will be 15 million yuan for a year.During the forum, Dr. Palkovics László, Minister of Innovation and Technology in Hungary, gave a speech and indicated that he expects this forum could witness the breakthrough in the cooperation between China and Hungary in the field of automotive industry innovation.Li Dianxun, deputy mayor of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, also delivered a speech. He believes that the upgrading of Chongqing’s automobile industry needs innovation and capital supports.“As the traditional automobile industry and the top one vehicle sales nationwide, Chongqing needs to upgrade the automobile industry. The automobile industry needs to upgrade its industrial chain, innovation chain, capital chain, and service chain in order to become China’s first-class automobile industry. Therefore, it could obtain the strong competitiveness and long-term vitality of the automotive industry. Hungary has a distinctive advantage to cooperate with Chongqing. Hungarian intelligent manufacturing and unmanned technology have a reputation in the world. They also have scientific and technological talents, research and development results and practical technology. There is great potential for cooperation between the Chongqing and Hungary in the automotive industry. It is hoped that the two places will take the opportunity of this Forum, and rely on the China-Hungary Technology Transfer Center to promote cooperation between China and Hungary, especially between Chongqing and Hungary. Overall, it will connect Chongqing and Hungary a strong alliance to promote innovation and upgrade the automotive industry together” Li conculed.
On November 30, 2017, Chongqing science and technology delegation was invited to attend the plaque unveiling ceremony of "Chinese-Hungarian Technology Transfer Center (Budapest)" in Budapest, Hungary. Witnessed by Mr. Monszpart Zsolt, Vice President of Innovation and General Affairs of the Hungarian National Research, Development and Innovation Office, Mr. Csutora Zsolt, Deputy State Secretary of Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and relevant officials of the Chinese Embassy in Hungary, Budapest Office of Chinese and Hungarian Technology Transfer Center was officially declared open. Pi Xiaoqing, head of the delegation and Dr. Norbert Grasselli, CEO of Hungarian Bay Zoltan Non-profit Ltd for Applied Research jointly unveiled the plaque, which means the work mode of Chinese-Hungarian Technology Research was officially established and the channel of cross-border technology transfer between China and Hungary was built.
On November 4, 2017, Chongqing Science and Technology Commission and the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture signed "Chongqing-Hungary Strategic Cooperation on Agricultural Science and Technology Memorandum"; Chongqing Hi-Tech Incubation Center and Hungarian Bay Zoltan Non-profit Ltd for Applied Research jointly signed the“Declaration of Establishment of Chinese-Hungarian Technology Transfer Center (Chongqing)". Ms. Andrea GULYAS, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Lóránd DIÓSSI, Consul General of Hungary in Chongqing, AI Yang, Deputy Secretary General of the Chongqing Government attended the signing ceremony. The signing of the " Strategic Cooperation Memorandum " and the "Declaration of establishment" marked the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between Chongqing and Hungary. In the future, the two sides will carry out in-depth and all-round exchanges and cooperation in the fields of modern agriculture, IT software applications, water environmental protection and smart city development, which contributes to the development of science and technology between China and Hungary.
