He is the editor of more than 10 journals such as Trans. on Rough Sets, Journal of Computer Science, Three Gorges Ecological Environment Monitoring and so on. He has published 15 academic monographs (including editing) and published more than 200 papers in SCI/EI, which have been cited more than 8,000 times by others. As the chairman of a meeting, the chairman of the program committee and the chairman of the organizing committee, WANG organized more than 20 international conferences and was invited to deliver more than 20 reports at international conferences. He was awarded 6 awards and prizes for teaching and researching achievements, such as the second prize of Teaching Achievement in National Higher Education and the first prize of Chongqing Natural Science. The teaching and researching team led by him was rated as “National Teaching Team” and “Chongqing University Innovation Team”. His main research areas include: data mining, rough sets, granular computing, cognitive computing, cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence and so on.
