Supply outline

Granulated Energocell foam glass is a thermal insulaton and light flling material. It is a porous structured aggregate similar in appearance to stone rubble, but with only one tenth of its mass. Due to its 150-175 kg/m3 (!) bulk density, high load-bearing capacity (E2=50 MPa), resistance to freezing and inertness it provides versatle solutons for buildings and civil engineering works. The granules can be installed easily using conventonal constructon machinery. Cost reductons per the entre system can be achieved. We produce the granules from packaging, vehicle, and window waste glass, and from residual consttuents resultng from the conventonal recovery processes of these types. From 1 tonne of waste glass one can produce by recycling 5-5.5 m3  foam glass. Our recipes cover the methods of appropriate waste glass treatment, quality parameters, and mixing ratos as well. Foam glass granules can be used for thermal insulaton under foors (e. g. cold stores, poultry farm buildings, family houses), for load compensaton on slabs (e. g. underground garages, green roofs, ofce buildings, heritage buildings), for utlites insulaton (e. g. underground waterpipes), but for special projects too (e. g. sports grounds, pools, heated ramps). We also recommend it for backfll load compensaton in road- and bridge constructon, and for relieving the loads on sof soils and structural elements.


The infrastructural needs of a  factory that produces 90,000 m3 foam  glass granules per year are as follows: an  approx. 1,200-m2 hall, a 2,000-10,000- m2 outdoor storage space with hard  surface covering. The number of  workers for plant operaton: 9-13 em- ployees – in additon to which  min.5employeesforsales,administraton,  logistcs,  laboratory.
