In 2016, he was selected as a special expert in Guangxi Autonomous Region. In 2011, he was selected into the New Century Excellent Talent Support Program of the Ministry of Education. In 2013, he was selected as one of the top 100 engineering and technology talents in Chongqing. In 2014, he was elected to the Chongqing Science and Technology Commissioner. In 2015, he was selected as a leading talent in science and technology innovation in Chongqing. He was awarded the first prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Chongqing, the first prize of Science and Technology of China Circular Economy Association, the first prize of invention of China Nonferrous Metals Science and Technology Award, and the gold prize of China International Invention Exhibition.
He is engaged in chemical process strengthening, energy conservation, emission reduction and resource and environmental chemical research, responsible for more than 10 projects, including National Science and Technology Support Program, Key National Research and Development Program, Key National Natural Science Foundation Project, National Natural Science Foundation project, Chongqing 121 Science and Technology Support Demonstration Project, Chongqing Major Science and Technology Project, and Key Chongqing Science and Technology Project. He has published 2 books and obtained 3 software copyrights; participated in the formulation of enterprise standards, authorized 30 invention patents, and published more than 60 papers, including 20 articles in SCI and 37 articles in EI. The research results have been successfully applied in more than 10 enterprises in Chongqing, Guangxi, Sichuan, etc., reducing manganese ore consumption by 200,000 tons/year, reducing manganese slag by 250,000 tons/year, reducing wastewater discharge by 150,000 m3/year, and saving 300 million kW·h. New sales revenue reached 10 billion yuan.
