He is Director of the International Science and Technology Cooperation Base for Micro and Nano Photoelectric Materials and Devices of Ministry of Science and Technology, Director of China Instrument and Contorl Society, Member of American Material Society, American Chemical Society, International Optical Society and China Ordnance Society. He was selected into the Chongqing 100 People Plan and won the Second Chongqing Top Ten Youth Award for Science and Technology. LI got his undergraduate degree, postgraduate degree and PH. D from University of Electronic Science and Technology. He engaged in a joint training doctoral and postdoctoral research at University of California, Los Angeles (ranked eighth in the United States) from 2009 to 2014 , during which he was lectured by Professor PEI Qibing, a right-hand man to 2000 Nobel prize winner. He has published more than 80 research papers, cited more than 3,000 times, and applied for more than 80 invention patents in the United States and China. Of these, more than 70 have been authorized, 30 have been converted, and the amount of conversion has exceeded 5 million yuan. He is responsible for and participates in more than 30 air force and navy projects of the US Department of Defense, China's key research and development programs, and CMC's science and technology commission projects with a total outlay of more than 30 million yuan. The " Large-scale Flexible Touch Project " led by him won the first place in the 2016 First National Intelligent Manufacturing ( Made in China 2025 ) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition organized by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China and gained a risk investment of 5 million yuan. The technology has been applied in the flexible display production line of BOE Technology Group. It also added 220 million yuan to the output value of some enterprises in Jiangsu province.
