Chongqing university is a key university under the Ministry of education in China's "211 Project" and "985 project." it has the key laboratories of the Ministry of education on the ecological environment in the Three Gorges Reservoir area, the Ministry of education on the development of energy and mineral resources in Southwest China and the prevention and control of environmental disasters in the Three Gorges Reservoir area. Eight key laboratories at the provincial and ministerial levels, including the Key Laboratory for water environmental protection and comprehensive utilization of water resources in human settlements in the Three Gorges Reservoir area; and 11 field test and research bases. After a long period of construction, the above-mentioned experimental bases and centers have possessed a large number of relatively advanced instruments and equipment and sufficient experimental platforms and houses in China. The project team has worked with Guenter langergraber of the University of natural resources and life sciences in Vienna, Austria the professor has had in-depth discussions and exchanges on the dynamic simulation of pollutants in constructed wetlands and the degradation characteristics of emerging pollutants at international academic conferences. He visited Chongqing University twice in March and November 2017, with the intention to further cooperate with the project team in the field of constructed wetlands.
